Self-hosted DCIM in your own network, or our cloud in the EU

RackStitch runs as a cloud service hosted in the European Union, or as a self-hosted installation inside your own network, also without internet access. It is the same application with the same modules; you choose where your data lives.

Your infrastructure map is sensitive

A complete map of a server room tells an attacker exactly where to look: which switch carries which network, which circuit feeds which rack, which device has which serial number. Some organizations are happy to keep that documentation in a well-run cloud service. Others must keep it inside their own network, sometimes in a management network with no internet access at all. RackStitch supports both.

RackStitch Cloud: hosted in the EU

  • Runs on infrastructure in the European Union, with backups in the EU.
  • Operated by Kynologic Sp. z o.o., a software company based in Poland.
  • Updates are included; you do not install anything.
  • Each client's data belongs to one organization. Isolation is enforced in one place on the server and checked by automated tests for every endpoint.
  • Email support.

RackStitch Self-hosted: inside your network

  • Installs on a Debian 13 server or virtual machine from an offline package that contains everything it needs, or as a ready virtual appliance for Proxmox VE.
  • Works without internet access. The license is an offline license file for the paid year.
  • Updates come as packages that are checked before installation and can be rolled back; online updates are optional.
  • Scheduled backups, also to an NFS or SMB share, and a restore command.
  • A setup wizard on the machine console (language, network, time) and then in the browser: instance address for QR codes, certificate, network access, license, owner account with two-factor authentication, email server, backups and first data.

If a license expires, there are 30 days of warnings and then the application becomes read-only. Your data can always be viewed and exported.

Security in both editions

Four roles per organization (viewer, editor, administrator, owner). Two-factor authentication is mandatory for administrators and owners. Planned changes go through change sets and every action lands in the audit log: who changed what, when, and in which change set. Users can see and end their active sessions. Support access by Kynologic staff to an organization in the cloud is recorded in that organization's own log and visible to its administrators.

GDPR and NIS2

Kynologic is an EU company and RackStitch Cloud runs in the EU, which keeps the setup straightforward under the GDPR. With the self-hosted edition, the data never leaves your network. RackStitch also helps you keep the asset inventory, change history and physical infrastructure records expected under NIS2 and Poland's national cybersecurity act (KSC). It supports your documentation duties; it does not by itself make an organization compliant, and it is not a certification.

Pricing for both editions

One price per organization, with all modules included. RackStitch Cloud: USD 100 for the first year as a launch offer, then USD 1,000 per year or USD 100 per month. RackStitch Self-hosted: USD 200 for the first year, then USD 2,000 per year. Prices are net; VAT is added according to your country. Help with a self-hosted installation can be priced separately, on request. Details are in the pricing section and the FAQ.
