1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Kynologic Sp. z o.o., ul. Półwiejska 17/26, 61-888 Poznań, Poland, entered in the Polish National Court Register (KRS) under number 0001066149 by Sąd Rejonowy Poznań – Nowe Miasto i Wilda w Poznaniu, VIII Wydział Gospodarczy KRS, tax ID (NIP) 7831890477, REGON 526785413 (“we”). 2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers only the rackstitch.com website, in all its language versions. The RackStitch application (app.rackstitch.com) and the public demo (demo.rackstitch.com) are governed by separate terms.

The website is static: it has no user accounts, sets no cookies or other tracking technologies, and uses no analytics or advertising tools. It does not load resources from third-party servers — fonts, images and scripts are served from our own server.

3. Server logs

Each time the website is accessed, the server records in its log: the IP address, the date and time of the request, the address of the page or file requested, the response code, the number of bytes sent, the referring page and information about the browser and operating system (user agent).

• purpose: keeping the website secure and available, detecting abuse and technical errors;
• legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
• retention: logs are deleted after 30 days; longer only if needed to investigate a specific security incident, until that investigation ends.

We do not combine logs with other data or use them for profiling.

4. Email and the “Book a demo” form

The form on this website does not send anything to our server — it opens your email app with a prepared message to hello@rackstitch.com. We receive your data only when you send that email yourself. We process the data you include: name, company, email address, approximate number of racks, the message and any further correspondence.

• purpose: replying to your message, arranging and running a demo and, if you ask for it, preparing an offer;
• legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in handling correspondence and answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
• retention: until the matter is closed; if we do not start working together, no longer than 12 months after the last message, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Providing data is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot reply.

5. Where data is stored and who receives it

Server infrastructure — the servers running this website, backups and email (including the hello@rackstitch.com mailbox) are maintained for us by Xerti Tech Sp. z o.o. as a processor. Servers and email run in a cluster across two sites — an OVH data centre in France and a server room in Poznań, Poland (Poznań Science and Technology Park) — with backups kept in Poznań. Traffic between the sites is encrypted, and everything stays within the European Economic Area. We do not transfer data outside the EEA.

We do not sell data, use it for advertising or profile visitors. We disclose data to public authorities only when required by law.

6. Cookies

The rackstitch.com website does not set cookies or store data in your browser (localStorage), so there is no consent banner.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data and obtain a copy, to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability (for data processed under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Please send requests to hello@rackstitch.com — we reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl), or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

8. Changes

If we change how data is processed on this website, we will update this policy and its effective date.
